Description: Join us as we welcome illustrator, Justin Castaneda, as he shows us some basic drawing concepts that you can apply to creating your own book. Attendees will each receive their own blank book to use to create their own illustrated stories.

Chicago area artist and graphic novelist Justin Castaneda brings introduces new artists to the basics of drawing, focusing on the importance of shapes in drawing, how to break your art down into simple shapes, and how to turn a doodle into a work of art. (Ages 8+)

Back On The Bus: A Back-To-School-Expo

This Saturday (August 13th) I'll be at the Tinley Park Convention Center for Back On The Bus, a back-to-school- expo. I'll be set up there selling copies of HEART, Wonder Care, and coloring books. It's a free event so bring the kiddies. For more info check out the image below:

POPzilla presents: "Save Ferris", a John Hughes Tribute Art Show

If you live in the Anaheim, CA area, POP COMICS is having an art show in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the many films of legendary filmmaker, John Hughes. I was lucky enough to be invited to showcase some art at the gallery. So if you're close, check it out! I'll have some prints for sale there too!

It’s Free Comic Book WEEK!

Happy Free Comic Book Day, boys and girls!  Victor and I will be posting a page-a-day for an entire week from an all new Wonder Care story!

First show of 2016: NWI Comic Con

Hi all! I hope you are having a great start to the new year. I have been busy since January getting ready for my first show of the 2016 con season! I will be at NWI Comic Con in Schereville, IN this Saturday (Feb. 20) from 11am to 7pm. I'll be joined by fellow artists Angel Onofre, Ali Cantarella, the Sun Bros. Studios, and Instant Press Comics. I hope to post some pics, shoot a periscope, live tweet the show that Saturday so be on my social media feeds if you can't make it out.
